Just got back from a great instructor training weapons seminar that the ASKA held.

Thankful Mr. Peter Lebas was kind enough to take this Saturday's classes. I hear he did a great job and had lots of fun. It reminds me of when I started teaching at 14. Thanks Mr. Lebas.

All the local ASKA (American Shorin Ryu Karate Association) schools were their including Master Jules Pommier, Sensei Karl Gruber, Sensei Bryan Kautzman, and of course me. We learned advanced bo and nunchaku fighting and applications. It was totally awesome. Remember at the next Black Belt testing Master Keller will be in town for some more ASKA sponsered seminars. I believe all students will be invited. Lets all be there!

Sincerely,
Scott Shoen

Students do awesome acts of leadership!

Christopher Walker (6): Straightened room without being asked because "that's what a black belt leader does." Christopher you are really showing me that you are going to make a great black belt club member.

Nicky Lasecki (4): Quickly & Respectfully Responded to Mommy.
